Professionalism Committee Recommendations:
Motion : Faculty Senate should develop a confidential reporting system to gather information on the number and type of professionalism concerns as well as exemplary examples of good behavior.
Vote: 16 in favor, none opposed, to tabling until Senators can discuss with departments.
Motion : The Faculty Senate should create an award to honor professionalism behavior of the highest caliber.
Vote: 11 in favor, none opposed. Motion was carried.
Motion : Using minimum appropriate language regarding professionalism in letters of offer.
Vote: 10 in favor, 4 opposed. Motion was carried.
