Don’t you just hate it when you are preparing a document, spreadsheet, presentation, database file or email in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, or Microsoft Outlook, that involves copying and pasting, and the Office Clipboard keeps popping up and you have to close it each time? Well, there is a way to turn it off or set the Clipboard properties so that it only appears when you press CTRL+C twice.
All of the applications work the same and changing the settings in one of the applications changes the settings in all of them.
On the Edit menu, click Office Clipboard (You may have to wait a few seconds for this item to appear).
On the Clipboard task pane, click Options (At the lower left corner of the window that pops up).
Set the command options you want:

Automatically displays the Microsoft Office Clipboard when copying items. |
Show Office Clipboard When CTRL+C Pressed Twice (default is ON) |
Automatically displays the Office Clipboard when CTRL+C is pressed twice. |
Collect Without Showing Office Clipboard (default is OFF) |
Automatically copies items to the Office Clipboard without displaying the Office Clipboard. |
Show Office Clipboard Icon on Taskbar (default is ON) |
Displays the Office Clipboard icon |
Show Status Near Taskbar When Copying (default is ON) |
Displays the collected item message when copying items to the Office Clipboard. |
