Printing Multiple Ranges from an Excel Worksheet
In Excel, you can print multiple cell ranges very quickly by selecting the ranges you want to print (hold down the Ctrl key, then click and drag your mouse cursor over the ranges). After you have selected all the ranges to print, type Ctrl-P. On the print menu that appears click the "selection" option and click okay. That is easy, but each range you have selected prints on a separate page!
To print multiple ranges on one page you need to copy them to a separate work sheet. Here is how-
1. Select the first range you want then type Ctrl-C twice. This will open the clipboard window and copy the
first range to the clipboard.
2. Select the next range you want to print then type Ctrl-C again. This command copies the range you have
selected to the clipboard and (you will be able to see it listed there.)
3. Repeat step two as needed until you have selected all the ranges you want to print.
4. Choose the worksheet menu at the top of the screen and click on Insert Worksheet.
5. Click on the new worksheet tab at the bottom of the screen to open your new worksheet.
6. Click a target cell (For most purposes this would be Cell A1 in the upper right corner of the screen ). Then
click the Paste All option from the upper left hand corner of the clipboard window.
7. Type Ctrl-P to open the print dialog box and select Active Sheet from the "print what" section of the print menu.
Now your selected ranges will print on the minimum number of pages possible.
