Clinical/Research Interests:
The current research focus of the lab is directed towards understanding the interactions between vaccine antigens and adjuvants. We are interested in these interactions from two perspectives: (1) developing stable vaccine formulations and (2) understanding mechanisms by which adjuvants enhance the immune system’s response to vaccine antigens. We use a variety of biophysical techniques (i.e., spectroscopy, calorimetry, etc.) to address these questions.
