PHRD 4750: Integrated Organ Systems VI: Immunology (4 Credits)
This course covers the normal immune and hematopoietic systems, immunopharmacology and the pathophysiology of diseases that fall into two conceptually distinct, but often overlapping and inter-related areas – malignancies (cancers) of solid organ origin and diseases of the immune system, including hematologic malignancies, auto-immune disorders, and other immune dysfunctions.
