Student Assistance Office

The Student Assistance Office's mission is to enhance student life at the Anschutz Medical Campus of the
University of Colorado Denver by providing excellence in specific non-academic and academic student services.

Students who have been admitted into their respective schoo/program or who are currently enrolled utilize the Student Assistance Office's many services during their tenure at the Anschutz Medical Campus. All students may utilize the services of this office - we are here for you!

The RTD College Pass is coming! the RTD College Pass is coming!
The Student Referendum resulted in an AFFIRMATIVE vote for the RTD College Pass and required fee - pending Regent approval, the fee will begin Fall 2009 and $42.90
will be charged to every degree seeking student (as identified in the Referendum proposal),
per term enrolled, and RTD Identification Badges/Stickers will be disseminated for
all AMC Students who are assessed the mandatory fee.
Watch your emails for more information as we approach Fall 2009 semester.

The UC Denver Writing Center is available for
Anschutz Medical Campus students' use!
This service is FREE for you to use!

The Writing Center at the University of Colorado Denver is now open for Anschutz Medical Campus student use!  The Center provides free writing assistance to students from any discipline at any stage in the writing process.  Our services include one-on-one and small-group writing consultations in areas such as:

  • Generating, organizing and developing ideas
  • Establishing effective proofreading skills
  • Analysis, synthesis and argument
  • Summary, paraphrase and documentation
  • Understanding error pattern analysis
  • Information literacy and research strategies
