Learning Assistance :
Tutoring Services are provided to students at the Anschutz Medical Campus through this office. Any students having difficulties in any classes are welcome to contact Cheryl.Gibson@uchsc.edu, Director of the Student Assistance Office for information on receiving assistance/tutoring.
The tutoring/learning assistance program through the Student Assistance Office pays for Anschutz Medical Campus degree-seeking students who are failing or may be in danger of failing required coursework in their respective programs, as referred to the office by the student's program faculty/student affairs office.
Any student who feels they are in danger of failing may come to the SAO directly and discuss a plan of action. Academic standing will be confirmed with the Student Affairs Office of the student's academic program and/or the Course Director.
Students seeking 'review sessions' only may contact the SAO for tutoring resources, however, those students are responsible for paying their tutors out-of-pocket.
