Research & Service

The University of Colorado Bio-Imaging Research Laboratory is a core lab devoted to the development and analysis of radiology based biomarkers.  The laboratory provides advanced image processing, clinical trial radiology support, and multi-modality data analysis (MEG, PET, perfusion imaging, fMRI).  The laboratory, directed by Dr. David Miller  offers the following services:

  • Clinical Trial Support - Central Radiology Review and Analysis

  • Medical Physics (Integrated with RADSCIENCE)

  • Image Analysis

UC BIRL has strong historical and practical links to imaging efforts with other academic groups, including The Oregon Brain Imaging Research Laboratory (O BIRL), The Schizophrenia Research Group, The Neuroimaging Collaborative Group, The Biomagnetic Imaging Lab , The Center For Human Simulation (Visible Human Project), and the new Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) 3T MR research facility.
