Welcome
to the home page for the Medical Student Education curriculum
at the University of Colorado Medical School.
The
curriculum in the first two years is designed to provide the scientific
background to prepare graduates for the practice of medicine.
However,
students begin clinical training in the first year with the longitudinal
Foundations of Doctoring course. Beginning with their third year, students
complete required clinical rotations.
The
medical school curriculum at the University of Colorado is in the process
of being redesigned (see COSMIC), and the new curriculum will be launched
in the fall of 2005.
