Park Your Car and Join a Vanpool
Join the Vanpool from Lafayette to the Fitzsimons campus with stops along
US 36 in Broomfield and Westminster Park & Ride. See RideArrangers at www.drcog.com.
Monthly fare is $60. Try it free for one week and then pay month to month
with no long-term commitment. 50 percent part-time riderships are available.
Pro-rated fares are also available.
The van arrives at Fitzsimons at 7:20 a.m. and leaves at 4:35 p.m. Alternate
routes can be taken when traffic is congested.
How the vanpool works:
• A group of up to 12 people share a ride to work in a van dedicated to
their commute for a monthly fare based on mileage and the number of passengers
in the van. The van has a bike rack and room for cargo.
• One vanpool rider volunteers to drive, track maintenance, submit paperwork
and collect fares, and in return rides for free.
• Volunteer vanpool drivers must have clean motor vehicle records, undergo
criminal background checks, receive insurance approvals and sign vanpool agreements.
The vanpool program provides the van, maintenance and repairs, insurance,
fuel, bike racks and the guaranteed ride home. You get a taxi ride to your home
at no additional expense for unplanned emergencies or unexpectedly working late.
