Pedal Power
Rhonda Hattar and
Scott Noble, researchers at UCD at Fitzsimons, check in at
Building 500 as part of the 50th annual Bike to Work Day. More than 100 employees
pedaled their way to
work at the Fitzsimons campus, with an equal number making the trek
to the Ninth Ave. and Colorado Blvd. campus. The League of American Bicyclists has been sponsoring National Bike Month and Bike to Work Day since 1956. Bike to Work Day represents an effort by cities, counties, transportation planners, community organizations and others across the state to educate citizens about the benefits of using two wheels to get to work.
